Dogs can sometimes act like little toddlers in furry bodies—getting into things they shouldn’t, acting overly excited, and zooming around with no regard for their surroundings. Their chaotic energy can send them crashing into furniture, walls, and even people, all while having a blast.
Like toddlers, dogs’ behavior can also shift depending on who’s in charge. In one family, a pit bull named Bishop Ace gives his Grandma a tough time whenever she’s left in charge. Jayla, who doesn’t have human grandchildren, dotes on her “grand-dog” Bishop Ace, so it’s surprising that he doesn’t behave around her—especially since he’s well-mannered with his mom, Shauna.
Bishop Ace is a model pet for Shauna. He loves cuddling with her and listens attentively when asked to do something. But as soon as Shauna leaves for work, chaos ensues. Jayla, frustrated by the pit bull’s mischief, started recording his behavior, hoping to prove that her suspicions were correct.
“Bishop, we need to talk,” Jayla begins in the video. “When mom is at work, your behavior is getting out of hand. You ignore Grandma’s commands and just run off.”
Despite being caught red-handed, Bishop Ace avoids eye contact throughout the conversation. Afterward, Shauna reassures her dog with affection, denying any wrongdoing despite the video evidence. Even with clear proof of his antics, Bishop Ace remains her precious pup, and Grandma’s efforts at an intervention go nowhere.
