Animals can be a lot of fun—until they do something that gives you a mini heart attack. Take Pablo, for example. The poor pup just wanted to take a peaceful nap. But this wasn’t your average snooze—it was a nap so deep that it had his owner seriously concerned.
After a long day of being a dog, Pablo settled down for a good rest on the couch. As he drifted off, he started to slowly slide down, his body going limp as he slipped further and further off the cushion. Eventually, his head rested on the floor, and it looked as though the poor dog was lifeless. But Pablo was simply lost in a very deep sleep.
Unfortunately, Pablo’s owner didn’t get the memo that his dog had transformed into a human-level nap champion. Seeing his pup slide off the couch, the owner immediately jumped into action, trying to wake him up. But Pablo was in the zone, continuing to slide like he was melting into the floor. Panicked, the owner shouted his name in a mix of fear and confusion.
After a brief moment of panic, Pablo groggily stirred and made his way to the other side of the couch to resume his nap, probably thinking, “Why was my owner freaking out over my perfectly normal snooze?” Meanwhile, the human was left to breathe a sigh of relief—and maybe give Pablo a gentler nap spot next time.
